Work has started on season 4 of Wentworth . I’m enjoying getting stuck in to the music .

The girls are in their new jail and enjoying the new facilities .

There are some new faces and a few old ones people will be happy to see again.

Steven Berendsen from the Dutch production of Wentworth ( cell blok h ) yesterday kindly showed me around their set in Alkmaar and also introduced me to their sound department . They film in a disused real prison  . The prison is famous for once being home for Willem Holleeder the man who kidnapped Freddie Heineken . It feels a bit like the old Pentridge ( blue stone college ) . You can read scratched messages in the walls made by prisoners ‘ I will never talk ‘  it’s very spooky . Looking forward to coming home to be with my family .

I have been busy fleshing the Wentworth opening theme song into a full song .

It has taken a while but i needed time to step back from it for ideas to formulate .

Michelle has crafted some extra lyrics which are perfect .

We plan to release it very soon hopefully to coincide with season 3 in Australia .

WENTWORTH Season 2 has new opening titles music performed by ‘ Pleasantville ‘

The idea came to me driving through Woodend on my way home from Melbourne   . I quickly jotted it down on my portable recorder ( phone )and recorded it the next day with Michelle singing the chant over & over until it sounded like a choir.

I hope you like it , if you don’t – hang in there , it grows on you .

PLEASANTVILLE ( Michelle and i) have just released a new album called  ‘ just another girl with an old guitar ‘ .

The songs are moody ,wistful , honest and sometimes funny. Most of the songs started as instrumental cues for various TV productions  . Michelle hears them in the kitchen and adds lyrics , i add some more herbs and spices and an album is born .
