Yep , my last cue of season 2 was sent off to BOOM TRAX (the post production house where Wentworth is mixed ) today .
I can’t spill the beans about story lines etc but lets just say there’s plenty of thrills and spills with some great new characters.
I believe it will go to air in May . I start composing for season 3 in May also . I have 3 precious weeks off in which we will Kombie around Tasmania.
For season 3 i have been experimenting with my new ‘ Sarangi ‘ for a season 3 flavour .

ABC 3 are screening Conspiracy 365 on saturdays and sundays 6.50 pm at the moment . My kids are addicted .
It usually runs the other way ie Classy European shows being remade for English speaking markets , ( The Bridge , Wallander , The Killing ).
Those crafty Europeans have their eyes on ‘ Wentworth ‘ and will be remaking it in Dutch .
I am flattered to say that they will be using all my music , so today , like a parent dressing his child for an excursion , i prepared all the cues and session files to be sent over .

I have completed the music for the first 4 episodes of season 2 , fans of the show wont be disappointed . The new characters ( i cant say too much ) are really engaging and great fun to write music too .

Tonight on channel 10 at 7.00 pm is a brand new quiz show made by ‘ working dog ‘ . I collaborated with Peter Farnan to write the theme music . We basically wrote a song , cut it back and chopped it up , let’s hope it tastes good .
I Played a gig with BCO last friday night , It was a fantastic blast of 80s rock fun . The band has connected so many people ( not just us ) . Old fans were bumping into other old fans . My brother met his wife through the band 26 odd years ago.
It was a ‘ time machine ‘ weekend for me . The following day i got together with 7 blokes i went to primary school together with . The time machine kept rolling .
Alas it’s time to put it back in the shed and knuckle down to work .
I have been reading scripts for series 2 in preparation for writing the music . The bar has been lifted .
